Paul July Joseph is a Haitian drummer, percussionist, arranger, composer, and educator based in Boston. He is currently completing his undergraduate studies in Contemporary Musical Arts at New England Conservatory, where his work reflects a wide range of influences including jazz, fusion, gospel, R&B, pop, rock, reggae, Konpa, Zouk, and world music. 

Paul performs and collaborates in a variety of settings, including work with Pamyua and the Nondualism Trio, along with performances and projects involving artists such as Mark Tipton, Hankus Netsky, Itay Dayan, Esli Honore, and others. His performance experience also includes appearances connected to the PapJazz Festival and Panama Jazz Festival. 

In addition to performing, Paul has experience teaching private drum lessons and working with youth through organizations including IFSI and Project TMI. He is also an alumnus of Berklee College of Music’s Aspire: Five-Week Music Performance Intensive.

As the founder and artistic director of The PJ Experience, Paul brings together Haitian and Caribbean roots, jazz, fusion, and global influences to create music centered on culture, creativity, collaboration, and connection.
